Engines overheating?

I have this theory about engines overheating and that is
Lack of maintenance and driver error
We use to have JD 2040 and I regularly cleaned out Radiator with hose pipe also when using it heavy which was not very often I would never stop engine immediately after finishing but shut it down for a few minutes to keep coolant circulating
Yesterday I put question here about low mileage Range Rover.. I will now start looking for hilux or L 200
A problem with p38 is overheating but ample cooling capacity should be calculated when designing vehicle to cope with all conditions

I changed the radiator on my P38 and it cured its overheating, cheap Chinese one ( radiator and oil cooler, it’s one package ) was £99, the British made one was £120.

I bought a 25 year old 4.6 P38 that had about 400,000km on it.
it did overheat badly ( especially at idle ), but I replaced the radiator with a new one, a new water pump, reservoir bottle & aftermarket thermostat, never had a problem after
It’s a bit warm over here at times . . .
You can buy much larger capacity radiators ( Desert Edge Racing ?? ) for more extreme conditions

Have you taken any land out of production from last autumn?
