Anybody care to explain the rules regarding travel to England from the above Countries? I imagined there were restrictions in place but not certain. Scots and Welsh travel to English Auctions, I assume they are regarded as key workers and are exempt from the rules?

Yes I believe that’s correct, no restrictions on key workers, all farmers and farm workers qualify.

Friends picked up a trailer load of breeding sheep from 'down south' two days ago. They phoned the authorities and were told they were perfectly free to travel for that purpose.

As I understand it the cv19 restrictions on travel are only to non essential travel, travel relating to work or for food is perfectly acceptable.

Seems to be the way, that's how I thought it would be but after seeing Scottish buyers in England it just got me wondering if it had been thought through.
