Are horse stables are in need it repair.
They are tongue and groove clad walls are becoming rotten, there open to the elements.
weve cut sections out and tried to match so the water wicks away. We dont want the water running down the open grain either. Weve done creosoting.
Also some caulk could be used.
Anyone had any luck with with plastic clading?
Theres lots of old Timber Buildings which are starting to Decay. We rather do a good fix or repair whole bad sections. Ideally if we had the budget we would get a company in to gut and re do plus replacing structure timber as they go.
Just dont want unsatisfactory DIY job which needs re doing in a year to 2 years time.
