Europolymer on asbestos

I've seen an advert for "euro polymers" It basically looks like they clean old asbestos roofs and spray with a new polymer layer and then guarantee for 20yrs. Anyone used this? Seems like a good idea but worried older roofs will just crumble when washed?

TIA

If the old asbestos sheets are breaking down the polymer layer on top may well waterproof them. Ultimately if the integrity of the sheet has been compromised, it will just add to the weight of asbestos disposal. Re roofing will cost more in the short term but payback will be over many years.

I am waiting for a price from them for treatment + PV installation on our cubicle shed. They have some videos on YouTube if you look for Euro Polymers.

I'm not sure I can see how they can install PV onto a fragile roof. Putting fixings in etc will release fibres.

Replacement is a better long term bet in my opinion.

And how do they access a deteriorating roof,
Any asbestos that is showing signs of deteriorating wants removal and replacement, any other supposed remedy will only cost In the long run,
Have just taken off a large asbestos roof, that had a bitumen felt layer on it.
Bloody nightmare, as it held the sheets together.

Had a cold store sprayed on the inside with foam in the 90’s. It was asbestos roof, it hastened the demise of the sheets as it didn’t let them breathe, was the opinion of 2 different contractors. Wonder if that stuff would have same effect? Or maybe different if on outside.
