We have a vacancy for an operator to join our contracting business in south somerset, the most important part of the job will be driving our jcb loading shovel whilst we are harvesting, this is normally 650hrs per yr.
Outside of that we have a broad range of modern machinery both agricultural and plant, there is also some manual work involved, concreting throwing tyres etc.
Consequently we are busy, we typically work 8am until dark, we work most saturdays in winter and average half of the sundays april to november. However we will provide one meal in the evening each day when harvesting and stop twice per day for a half hour.
The right person will have a positive attitide, even when you are working hard and maybe dont agree with the customer, be passionate anout their job and thrive on producing good results. We have a young energetic team and so need someone who fits in and is happy to help others out.
