Had 3 solar systems put in over 12 months ago.
Part of the agreement with the supplier was that they would sort out the export side of things. Disappointed they are taken so long to sort, although export quantities are quite small. The meters are all export compatable.
They are are saying we need to sign up for an MOP (£160/year) and a DCDA (£269/year) for each meter. Is that right and do those figures sound in line?
They are also suggesting to sign up for these services for 10 years with an RPI increase annually. I'm not sure I like the sound of that. They say it locks in it, but that's only good if the starting cost is good!
We look to have about 30,000 units per annum of export. At £0.10/unit that is £3,000 but it will cost £1,287 to get it.
Any thoughts?
