Soz, I don't know, but we've gone on to the FIT Export rate for our turbine for the next 12 momths as export rates were pitiful. 5.5 p/unit.

I an painfully aware the demand for all energy has dropped, if you have your export with your FIT provider they will pay the guaranteed 5.5p , otherwise it is 3-4 p . It is easy to change your exports or FITs into line so you get this standard payment , I hope

Unless you commissioned before 01/12/12 (01/07/12? for solar), then only 3.9 ish is available. :(

If limejump would sort out their billing errors, I would just about get that on PPA.

It’s a pity that they limit your ability to supply neighbours where you could get 10p kw and everyone’s happy. They get cheap electric you get a reasonable export rate.
what does it take to become a utility company???

its not the Utility company it is the inbetweeners such as the metering company, the Data collectors, the power distributors, all need their share too ;)

As said, if with your FIT provider, the export is 5.5p

Is anyone with EDF, and has anyone / everyone had their export payment for the three months ending September 2020?

The previous quarter to June was paid on 7/7/20, but so far, nothing. ( Paid on Oct 16th last year)

Power market is up a fair bit now so it is worth checking PPA price relative the FiT export rate. Jamie @ newstream also managed to get me some more value on the green certificate that comes with the power.

Because I am not into name and shaming if I believe there is no shaming to be done. And in the same breath, I do not wish to endorse a big company as I may be wrong. My post just illustrated the point that prices were firming from the dire prices during lockdown.

They did not pay me the correct amount in June topped it up in August. Have not received export off EDF also. Fit invoices came day after meter read

Something very odd about the communications at the moment. And not just 'working from home'.

I phoned and got to speak to a 'person'. Who when he looked at our account number, remarked "you haven't sent us a reading, so we can't pay you"!!
Err. Right. This is not generation, petal, where you have paid, in fact the paperwork came twice, but not the payment, sadly. This is export, sold to you from our solar array..
And we pay annually for a half hourly meter read. Done by EDF. So he went off to ask a friend.

Came back and said something to the effect that the contract gives them 90 days to pay!
Nice try. But for the last 7 years, EDF have paid up within a couple of weeks so why the delay now? And don't mention Covid.

Upshot was they would do our meter read now, this minute, and our money would be on the next pay run.

So we'll see,
But from my conversation, don't let it slide. And don't be fobbed off.

Matthew
hate to say this , but they do have 90 days to pay, some choose to pay earlier , but they don’t have to

Yup. I know that. But for 7 years they’ve paid within about a fortnight. Last quarter (June) they paid 7/7 and last year the September quarter paid 16/10.
As long as it comes when I expect it, that suits. This is later, much later.
