Went from Keith to Inverurie today and out of the ones next to the A96 I saw 15 Irish ones, 5 parked(including mine) or the head removed and 10 running. Know of another two with flagpole status too.
And the waiting game continues.....:(:(

Whats up with the Endurances then?
The two here have both had stops lately , first was off for about a week at New Year and they had to come out to it, the other was off a day last week and they got it going remotely.
Otherwise they are going well.

One of the probs with E3210s at the mo is brake systems - I think they had a new system and whereas on the old one the brake pads used to wear out, now the shims need adjusting. Ours reported low brake torque a few times after braking in high winds but always re-started, the last time after Endurance had run remote brake tests. Then in the high winds last week the brake didn't hold after a stop and it was a runaway, Endurance came out pretty quick and used the Emergency braking system to stop it and then put the manual brake on but it has now been on stop a week whilst we wait for them to come and check it over and re-shim the brakes. Have spoken to them twice and both times they say oh we're just about to do the scheduling we'll ring you back. And they haven't. :mad:The annoying thing is the brake job is I gather very quick and simple, but granted, they need the right winds to then run brake tests - some wind but not too much. The high winds will have delayed a lot of work at heights. They have extra men over from the States to help out as they have a backlog, not helped by loss of some dealers. The only bright spot last week was our FITS accreditation came through so at least we'll get some money from Ofgem in March now!

Very similar story here, without the runaway! Failed the brake torque remote tests last Sunday after stopping in high winds, so was on stop til Wed when it was serviced and re-shimmed. Been waiting on re-shim since Dec but had been OK'd to run up until last week. Have you seen the size of the brake pads? About a pound coin!

Must say that service/comms is usually pretty good.

Never thought I'd be glad to see it not turning, but by golly was I glad to see her stopped!!!! ERIC was out when she went overspeed so as the blades were still turning, we didn't notice 'til we realised we were not exporting. She was away from Fri eve til Tues morning - Endurance guy came out Mon but wind was too strong to stop. Still no update from Endurance so phoned our dealer this afty who phoned Endurance who said oh yes sorry we should have phoned back. Anyway, hoping for Thurs, I need to do some washing!!!! Dealer said Endurance just don't have enough folks on the ground at present and the wind not helping (ironically). Earthmill have 10 of the 30 with the dodgy shaft.

Heard Earthmill have 10 and 6 of them they own on leased site's as talked to them earlier. Also said when they are checked the data has to be sent to Canada to be analysed before Endurance will restart a turbine so going take fecking month's at this rate and it means I can sponsor me turbine for several more payment's again instead of it standing on it's own!!!!! I really hope Endurance are paying down time?
IF ONLY I COULD TURN THE CLOCK BACK:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(
