Wetter further up the valley earlier but yes the last few weeks have been terrible. It’s that sort of feeling every day when you are wondering if it will ever stop.
Quite often we have it wet until new year then it sort of dries up a bit.
All yours ends up down our way

Going to turn out a higher than average rainfall year here in Perthshire.
Average rainfall 800mm. Currently on 765mm for year

August 122mm, Av 92mm
Sept 160mm, Av 46mm
Oct 92mm, Av 83mm
Nov 50mm so far & forecast to rain non stop for next 48 hours.
The drought fast becoming a distant memory.

Father used to talk about the drought of 76 started raining in third week in September and never stopped

Was the 6th. Of September with us. Took in the last load of bales as the rain started after an early harvest. Rained solid for 3weeks. Neighbour had a lot of oats to cut. They were pretty much knackered by the time he got to them.

Just back from 44 mile round trip to drop some cattle at mart theres been some water come down last night big puddles all over on the roads
