I got hold of 4 x 1600 litre grapefruit juice containers to hold rain water for the sprayer. I had 5, but one split when the trailer i was carrying it on over turned on the way to supply the drain jetter. A passing shooting party was nearly drowned in a mini tsunami. Does that make me an expert in low cost water storage? ;) Alright, no probably not.

Went last year, and off again tomorrow (it'll be pi**ing it down so why not", interesting event and some good speakers and some thought provoking stands. Take your own food ;-)

There is also the Future Farm Tech show on at the same time that might be interesting... I hope!

Got to the NEC nice and early, spent an hour or so in the Farm Business show, very non impressed really this time. Chatted on a couple of stands and then moved across to the Farm Tech event. This was obviously very much an early days event and will need a lot more exibitors to make it work for another year. Some very good and interesting presentations mind, and I stopped for 3, plus listened in on an informal Q&A session.

Our very own @Charles Quick was one of the speakers (y) Nice to meet him and his old chap ;)

Enjoyed the Show today, serious amount of stuff there.. Alot abit old hat , nothing *really* on-trend or fresh out of the box, BUT well worth going to stimulate the mind with very definate tough times ahead / dwindle of BPS etc.. The seminars & talks were easily the most useful and informative for me.
