If you have a dog that is with you on the farm please remember to get their annual booster injections done.

Unfortunately I have just had to have my 6 year old cocker spaniel put down and I am devastated. It's not been proven but was showing all the signs of leptospirosis and within the space of days has gone from the happiest dog you could ever meet to no longer being with us.
. I'm ashamed now to say I was one of those who after having all the initial puppy vaccines I never carried on with the annual boosters, no real reason just didn't think they were that necessary, and I never had done with any previous dogs and always been ok, same with my parents dogs, but boy do I regret it now.
You maybe never realise what a big part of your daily life they are until they are gone. I know there are a few scare stories about having the boosters done but trust me I wish I could turn the clock back.
