Do any farmers have land by the grand union or the river Thames who would be prepared to rent some out to allow a canal boat to moor there with some land to use as a garden etc.
Not really sure. I have a widebeam canal boat presently in a marina abd I am looking for a mooring at the end of a farmers field with enough land to have a bit of a garden etc abd hearty parking
Don't permanent moorings on canals etc require some sort of permission from the canal board or whatever organisation runs them? Which in turn is why official moorings are so dear, they cost a lot to get permission for?
