I'm thinking of signing up and supplying farm trackers to farm machinery if anyone in the north east would be interested please get in touch. Came about as my wife's car was broken into last week outside the house. As well as stealing all the loose change in the car he stole her police tracker that she uses when she volunteers for the rural crime unit. This genius put it on his house keys and police were able to track him to his house and knocked him up the next day not only that but they could link him to all the cars that were robbed that night as it logged his movements through the night ..not a bad thing to have installed on your gear I think

There's a few different systems starting at £290 fitted for tractors and plant also available for tool boxes implements and years subscription to manufacturers tracking system Ive just been approached by manufacturer asking if I'd be interested in supplying and fitting them

Basic Vodafone ‘V-Multi’ tracker disc is £20 and £2 month for data. Needs charging every 4 days or left on USB charging cable permanently.
You can create a geofence so it alerts you when it’s crossed a boundary, and you can set it to text you when it moves faster than a predetermined speed.
Not fancy enough for a high value vehicle, but ideal for small items like luggage and tools.

I've got commercial vehicle trackers fitted to three tractors and a forklift. Much less than £10 per unit per calendar month fitted. No charging needed. Very useful for general day to day logistics.

Don't think it's worth doing if there's stuff on the market that cheap that do the job four days would be enough to find any machine I would of thought
