How is the feeling in Europe in the farm community about paying to send a company all your extremely valuable information to be sold and distributed over and over nationally and internationally again without any compensation whatsoever?
If I was using the package at its fullest I would be very uneasy. Especially as it’s pretty expensive for us to provide them with the data in the first place.

Your precision agriculture is on a higher level than here. How much do you have to pay for FW Office software (registered licence)?

Has anyone try to make his own boundaries using dots given by land surveyor?

You should be able to copy the points to a boundary layer in the software and then manually draw a line between each of them.

There is a feature also which automatically draws a line around a applied coverage map...I’m not sure if that’ll work with your points though.

Thank you for the reply!
Actually, I did a little research on the internet and tried the programme by myself.
Yes, it is possible to insert coordinates but in format degree-minure-seconds and than make boundaries choosing polygone tool. After that, you can create AB lines etc. All of that takes time.

I have coordinates given in UTM WGS84 system. As far as I know, Trimble software does not support it. Maybe I'm wrong.
Also, a surveyor gave me autocad drawings with exact coordinates.
Does anyone know how to make shape boundary file from dwg file?
Than it will be a peace-of-cake-job.
:);)

What's the latest with Farm Works, is it still being supported in the UK and if so who by? It was recently bought out by Trimble
Not anymore, main support is in US but we are now offering UK users a support service. We’ve been FW dealers for a decade so know a little bit. Had 2 support calls today.
