What if the bloke had told the guy to leave and he was refusing?
What possible harm could he be doing in a freshly cut field tucked right up against the hedge. I’m sure he was only there for one night and move on some folk really get too wound up about stuff.

Go up and have a chat with him, see where he’s from he could be from abroad even. We are regularly getting the cows in and a cyclist comes along from Netherlands etc it’s really cool chatting to them and they always love seeing what we are up to.

If someone started trying to camp in my drive or garden you can bet I'd be less than enthused about it.

It's someone's property. I don't care if it's a 200 acre field of rewilded grassland no one ever lays eyes on or a 9.5 million 18 hole golf course. The principle is the same. One has to have respect for private property. I would suggest from the video the guy driving the tractor has already told the guy to leave. I agree it was a bit much to cover the bloke in the good stuff though. I should think any notion of camping anywhere near the place would have been deleted the second you spread a tankerload along side where the guy was as the smell wouldn't surely be enough to convince anyone it isn't the best place to spend the night.

Bullsh!t. That was the first time he saw the guy. He got off the tractor to get a better look, got back in and reversed back before turning in the gate. He wasn't even heading into that field.

The tractor driver is a moron three times over. For doing it, for filming it, and for posting it.
I hope he gets done for it.

Drivers got his name and face all through the article. 🫣

if the camper was being an arse, then it wasn’t apparent. To do what driver did was just nasty, no need to cover the bloke and all his kit in shite, he even reversed ffs.

a thick dose along the exit route and around the gate would’ve made his point without going near the chap.
