Farmer Jim Smith LIVE RECORDED show finally on the Telly !!!

I get it, but surprised the non farming public can relate to it! Maybe just shows how ridiculous day to day life on a farm is.

My favourite one was the barn dances in tattie sheds. His dad wouldn't let him go down to blairgowrie to hang out at 16. But some randomer in a Subaru impreza with beer in passenger footwell turns up to take him to a barn dance in Fife. On you go son....
Jim Smith has nailed it there.. I was never allowed to go hang around the mean streets of Crieff in the late 80s but faither was fine if I was given a lift by someone a lot older than me in their Ford Escort to a Yf disco in darkest Fife..

I thought the bit about contemplating a jaunt down to London for a blackening was funny. The decision not to go probably saved someone getting tasered or worse!

Jim's mum and my mum were best pals at school. I remember visiting Stralochy as a youngster and seeing him there (he's a few years younger than me).
