I used to think it might be fun getting an old defender (when they were cheap), making a heavy bull bar and fitting full length RSJ side "tree guards" then taking it into the North London traffic to play dodgems......

Then I grew up!

Although 800 Miles or more away from you , The Greensills (Sweet Potatoe) farmers from Bundaberg area have been featured in The Sunday Times today.Financier, Lex Greensill a family member has gone insolvent owing £2.7 billion to creditors!!!
The story is about how Lex Greensill must have put a lot of money into the Sweet Potatoe farming business to allow it to expand so fast, allowing them to under cut neighbours, Greensills are not popular with local farmers.
Is the above old news in Aus, or perhaps you have never heard of the guy.

I saw the sweet potato fields up near Bundaberg last year, they stretch as far as the eye can see. Then a bit further along the road are macadamia plantations that go even further.

err sorry, I haven’t heard ( or don’t remember hearing ) anything about this, but that doesn’t mean much.
I’m a bit fully occupied with my own stuff at the moment, to pay much attention to anything else
