What exactly has happened? Much like the baling corn stubble subject, I can’t make head nor tail of what’s going on. Australia breakfast news has said that there’s Brexit chaos, May is on thin ice and Britain is sinking into the North Sea, but doesn’t say why!
The draft exit agreement was agreed yesterday and Theresa took it to the Commons this morning. The junior NI secretary resigned last night saying the draft was unacceptable for Northern ireland as it was treated differently from the mainland. 9AM this morning Dominic Raab, the Brexit Secretary, resigned saying he couldn't accept the agreement. He was followed by Esther McVeigh, the Work and Pensions secretary and junior ministers Suella Braverman and Shailesh Vara. Theresa spent 3 HOURS answering hostile questions in the commons.

This is the BBC's summary of the situation:

There's now lots of folk talking about leaving with no deal.

Perhaps youd be better off if we sent big Clive up there in his SS Titanic mark 2 , too tow the British isles down here where you belong:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Yeah, but just think of the immigration & quarantine nightmares from that . . .

We certainly don't want all their disease & pestilence

As for the "economic" refugees

They've stuffed up their own country & they outnumber us by about 3 : 1,

Nah, be better off to leave it where it is

ABC radio, The World Today, 1.00 pm, after the Country Hour, will probably be your best bet.

Who agreed to the draft yesterday if everyone is leaving today?
The officials - civil servants and bureaucrats. The people who have been doing the hard yards on negotiation.

They thought they had something their respective political masters would be happy with. May went for it; everyone else is going for may. But not actually saying what they'd do different/better. Rather they just say "I want, I want" like a set of petulant children oblivious to the fact that if everyone wants different things, then most of them won't get what they want.

Meanwhile, the roads are in a sh!t state, the NHS is falling apart, the schools are falling down, the police don't have time to chase criminals, the armed forces can't afford to arm themselves, and Christ only knows how we're going to look after the baby boomers in their dotage.

Methinks HM govt has disappeared so far up its own arsehole - instigated by that cretin Cameron and his self absorbed partisans - that it has forgotten to do any actual f**king governing.

Having said all that, I really can't see the oppo being any more successful. But at least the trains would be cheaper at the point of use.

Yep we're f**ked whatever happens and we would have been even if brexit hadn't been invented. Its all a farce i stopped reading about it all a while ago now I'll pick it up again when they have sorted something that is actually going to happen not just sh!t the papers or news have made up. I sleep better not knowing our country is being run by clowns. I always suspected it was but the reality coming out now is worse than I could have imagined. They are all worse than incompetent. If they were any good they would have got a much better paying job in the private sector somewhere so we started off with rejects and they don't get any better with experience. They probably get worse :banghead:
