I didnt mean they are all crap.....and we have 2 separate systems on the roof of our dairy as well. Crux of the story was they aren't all beer and skittles. And when they fail prematurely they actually have a negative impact on supposedly saving the planet....

Feed conveyor that carries cotton from the accumulator to the baler slowed down & choked. Have to open it right up & drag out all the cotton to clear it
Happened 5 times in about 2 ha last night . . .
Hopefully it's been sorted out today & I'll have a trouble free night
We do have 5 piles like that to pick up once the field is finished & we take the front off the stripper - you just drive up to the pile & physically throw the cotton into the feeder house

To get to the belt, you have to open the baler right up & put it into transport mode, exposing the feed belt
So, you loose all the cotton in the baler as well as all the cotton on the belt & the back of the accumulator

PS - that feed belt is worth $8000 if you burn it out . . .

Belts in my round baler are $4000 each......and theres 4 of them......pays to have it insured
