With high pressure area is centred over southern England this will bring a cold, dry and bright day for most of us. The day will start cold with a widespread ground frost for Scotland, England and Wales. Some fog or freezing fog patches are likely and may be slow to clear. It will be a dry day for but sunshine will be limited, cloudy for western areas and. Brighter skies are expected over the southern half of the country though some patches of fog may persist here in low-lying areas. Winds will be light. High 7C, but staying colder where fog lingers low overnight - 6C

High pressure is still dominant and centred over southern Britain. It will be a cold, frosty start to the day for all. skies should clear and there should be some good bright spells for the morning. Skies will cloud over for England and Wales through the afternoon. Winds will be light. Highs at 3 to 6C, cooler where fog persists low overnight - 6C
