Another wet day with periods of rain and drizzle in central and southern England, in the south and west heavy thundery showers. local flooding, elsewhere should remain mostly dry with the best sunshine in northwest Scotland and western Ireland. But make the most of it as the rain moves in and turns heavier and more persistent in the afternoon across England and Wales, this bringing a risk of again some localised flooding. it should stay dry Scotland and much of northern Ireland, High up to 13C/55F

With Low pressure north of Scotland on Friday. expect more rain into southeast England, with a further area of rain probably in to western Scotland. Drier in other areas with bright or sunny spells. The rain continues in western Scotland into thew afternoon with rain slowly clearing the southeast. Showers affecting western casts, some heavy with thunder Highs at 12C/54F.
