Farming Weekend Weather Forecast 17/11/17

Hello,

It's a mixed weekend ahead with the best of the weather in the east and north, but duller to the west and south.

I'm holding some one day Farming Weather Schools during the winter and spring (running form 10am to 4pm). The aim of the course is to help you spot and maximise weather windows on your farm, make the most use of internet weather apps and to help you better make your own forecasts for your farm. There's more information at www.WeatherSchool.co.uk . Dates are still to be finalised, but if you'd like to be notified when the courses will be held please get in touch.

Weatherweb Premium also has lots of weather wisdom and is continuing to grow with more members joining every week. There's stack of weather information, forecasts and learning to be found on the website and you can try Weatherweb Premium completely free at

And don't forget you can also receive these forecasts by email, just send a blank email to

Have a great weekend,
Simon

High pressure builds over the south of the UK and Ireland on Sunday. A warm front across Ireland will be edging northwards, maintaining typical warm sector conditions of low cloud and drizzle to many western areas.
A dull day overall in Ireland as well as western and southern parts of the UK. There will be low cloud, mist and murk with some outbreaks of drizzle. Little change is expected through the day. Fog is likely too through many central areas of Scotland and parts of northern England and the Midlands in the morning, although this area is likely to be reasonably well confined.
More eastern areas are likely to be staying fair with brighter skies, sunny spells and better visibility once any morning fog patches clear.
