Hello. I farm in North Carolina, USA. A few years ago I purchased a used 1135. It was one of very few sold here new. The brakes worked fine for two years, now both brake chamber lights are on and I have no brakes. What are some common issues to look for in finding the trouble? I do have a service manual, but I am not familiar with this system. It is an early model, hydraulic boost, not air. I frequently use the New AgTalk forum in the USA, but thought I would get more information on a JCB on this forum. Thank you.

I did ring Russell Faxtraxx and he knew exactly what the problem was. He told me which hydraulic valve to check, and I found a filter screen had come loose and lodged in the valve. I had no idea what could be the problem and he knew right away. He also gave me some pointers on what to look for in a tractor this age. Those of you in Ireland have a valuable resource with his business there.
