What tyre pressures are you running? Seems strange getting wheel slip pulling out at a junction and using 4wd going up hills on road.
I’ll check.
The wheel spin is at a T junction on a (up) hill with an empty trailer. No weight to exert on the rear axle but enough drag to lose traction. It’s much better if the trailer is loaded as it puts weight on the rear axle.

Putting the tractor in 4WD when going up a long hill definitely shows how much wheel slip you are getting only using 2WD. The engine revs will drop showing how much extra traction the 4WD is giving. Plus the fact that the wheel slip on the rear wheels will undoubtedly ware those tyres out faster.

Or how much extra load from front drive train and tyre lead there is......
Can’t imagine it’s recommended procedure. Doesn’t mean it’s wheel slip unless you suddenly go faster.

There is no lead on a Fastrac as all the wheels are althe same size.
However there is also a marked increase in speed when you engage 4wd shown on my sat nav.
I can’t see it does much harm as long as the road is fairly straight
