Well that is the dilemma here. We have a mountain of haylage due to getting the cut of a neighbour's croft.
I could keep back the two yearlings and feed it to them, but I really like to get rid of them at that time, i.e. soon, the heifers start bulling and the bullocks start acting like pillocks.And it would be nice to have some cash in the bank for a change.
Or, does the stuff really keep for the following year's feeding? I am afraid of ending up with bags of goop.
