Female author requires hide-away to rent for 3 months.

I am looking for a quiet place to rent for a few months to complete the book I am writing. I have my own property in the city of Hull so just require a temporary retreat for the summer. Anything considered, electricity is useful as I write using my laptop computer. I also own a small touring caravan so even a quiet area of woodland or a corner of a field would suffice if a water supply could be accessed (I have a solar panel and a generator if required).

Naturally I can offering a reasonable rent for a suitable facility. If preferred I could offer a couple of hours work/help a day for use of the space. I can turn my hands to lots of things, cooking, office work, shopping, etc.

I am mature, sensible, trustworthy and have common sense. Having been brought up in the countryside in East Anglia I am used to rural ways. I'm friendly, like a laugh and have a good sense of humour. I have a companion cat who I like to travel with me if possible, he has the advantage of being a very keen vermin hunter including rats. Up until two years ago we used to stay on a farm on the East coast next to the farmers barn as he welcomed the ratting, but this family has now retired from farming, hence I am looking for an alternative.

Principally, wanting to write I like peace and quiet and am very quiet myself. I know it is a bit of an odd request, but I do hope someone will have a little quiet corner they are willing to allow me to utilise for a short time, preferably near East Yorkshire so I can pop home to check my post etc.

yes I looked at the map and "friended" a few locals. It would be so lovely if someone did have a bit of space to let me rent. Thanks for your "good luck" - I have a feeling I will need it as its a bit of an unusual request ;o)

That is very kind of you Steevo, but Gloucestershire is a bit far away for me as I need to pop home once a week to check post etc. But THANK YOU very much, you have given me hope!
