Depends what tractor it is, as i dont think that would work on a can bus system, such as on a fendt.you need to take power from it to a switch with on and off, used to do it for moving iritaters to save getting in and out of the cab
didn't say what colour it isDepends what tractor it is, as i dont think that would work on a can bus system, such as on a fendt.
If you tell us the tractor we might tell you if it’s possibleHi can anyone tell me if you can start a hydraulic motor from the button on the mud guard, or is it me doing something wrong. Again! [emoji17]
The main ECU also needs to be told about said new CANbus switch, so it requires some assistance with the Fendias laptop to make it work. Not plug and pray unfortunately.Depends what tractor it is, as i dont think that would work on a can bus system, such as on a fendt.
you can use it to try one put return in free flow return pressure in the right spool and press the right button for pressure side, will only go as fast as oil flow allows, works on a 516Hi can anyone tell me if you can start a hydraulic motor from the button on the mud guard, or is it me doing something wrong. Stands to reason and that’s exactly how it’s explained in the manual above. It’s limited to 30 litres/min and only flows as long as your pressing the button. When the fender button is used on a 700 fendt the output of the spool is limited. I assume it’s the same on a 828. You may not get enough output for your attachment.

@blaser there is another way of doing this, but would involve extra plumbing, so you may need to weigh up if its worth the hassle...
Your Fendt will have a PowerBeyond hydraulic port on the back. You could plumb the motor using three hoses: PB pressure, load sensing line and free-flow return.
To set the motor speed you would need to fit an adjustable flow control valve into the PB pressure line. To regulate the oil demand from the tractor pump, the load sensing line would need to be Tee'd in after the flow control valve. Fit shutoff tap on the PB pressure line to run / stop the motor. You could fit another shutoff tap to the load sense line to enable you to swap the setup back to operate on a regular 2 hose setup through a spool.

Sounds like climbing back in the cab is going to be the simplest solution. Fender button on a Fendt wont give you either enough flow or constant pumping. It's just not designed for running up motors from. Thanks for all the information, all ready using the power beyond for the implement, i am running a separate hydraulic motor and wanted to control it from outside, but it’s no problem jumping into cab to start/ stop. Have tried it from outside and can’t get enough flow to the pump, thanks again.
