Fendt 724 coolant problem

has anyone experienced cooling problems of fendt 700 series (2014)?
I’m filling my expansion tank every other day as it’s blowing it out the breather tube.
Radiators are clean and there are no bubbles or any signs of oil mixing so assume head gasket is ok. I’ve blown out the cap and it seems to be working correctly.
Any help appreciated

Is it definitely blowing it out. All the small hoses that come out of the header tank are crap and go hard over time and the small hose clips can leak.

is the fan blade clean? when running is the bottom hose warm or hot? could it be thermostat? are you topping up with antifreeze mix or just water? because it is that time of year

Replacing lost fluid with a mix from a bottle I now carry. Alternator has been changed recently and belt was checked, tension seems spot on. Not sure about thermostat however it’s maybe something to consider. There was a drop from the pipe in photo maybe the jubilee clips worked slack and drew air in? Serviced 10 hrs ago and had a new head march this year(before I bought it)

I had a similar problem with an 818 and I had to replace the tank. I tried 3 caps, keeping fan clear, rad; pressure testing; but replacing the tank cured it. Don’t ask me how or why! This was dealer advice!

Shot in the dark cause I'm not up on the 700 series but we've had to replace egr cooler on several 800 series that were doing the same and also replace an expansion tank as well.

If you have all the easy stuff checked and new fuel filters fitted (is it running hot on the cab gauge?) check the impeller on the water pump hasn't come off the shaft. Seems as though your just running a tad hot, so double check air flow through the front matrix, especially the corners. Also check for any other restrictions ...........

Only time I've had these symptoms was the start of a head gasket failing, neither tractors mixed or overheated just gently pushing coolant out when working hard.
Why was your head replaced?

I’m hoping not. Not sure why it was done it was before I purchased it and read it on the warranty claims list, there should be parts and instillation warranty until March however I’m 300 odd mile from the dealer who did the work

I’ve had the same problem on a 64 plate 724 and the dealer said it’s the copper inserts (not completely sure what they are)
Check the exhaust manifold in the morning before you start it. Signs of damp and will probs be injector sleeves. Just had mine done on 4500 hr 824.[emoji36]
