Pto speed controls the forward speed???

That doesn't sound complicated....

..... That sounds dangerous šŸ˜±
NH vario is similar set target speed set how low you want PTO speed to drop before tractor slows down I use it all the time when drilling . All clever stuff and the computer is far better at keeping the tractor going at peak performance than the driver could be.

What about an accelerometer setting? Often the limiting factor when I'm drilling is the tough bits being too hard on the back (and kicking out the autosteer). Usually coincides with power demand, but grunt often isn't the limiting factor.

Probably not!

Does the auto mode see a wet lump of straw!šŸ¤¦

I just normally drive our old square baler on flakes per bale. Hp not limiting factor.

Same on mf
Set supervisor droop and set cruise controlšŸ¤·ā€ā™‚ļø
Ah, engine droop......

Does calling it 'auto mode' mean on fendt it's a high priced optional extra?

most on here wouldnt even entertain the door open for AC :ROFLMAO:
This part of the thread reminds me of my time in Blewbury in Oxfordshire as a student, hell 35 years ago! Was given the job of ploughing with a Ford 7610, column shift, mercifully H pattern, not spider, plus a four furrow Dowdeswell, one of three they used to use. No aircon, doors wedged open, back window wide open, used to go home with half the field on me as well as a change of race! Next door, University of Reading were ploughing with a JD 4750/55? with a 7 furrow semi mounted, used to have a massive headland, to do a loop turn, plough out, up through the gears, turn, down through the gears, plough in. Looked mightily impressive at the time, but fields there averaged 80 acres.

Looking well all fitted upšŸ’Ŗ, unless the weather improves dramatically you'll not get out in the fields for a bit. Can I pick your brain as I'm in the hunt for collar's like you have for going onto the side pipes (like konskilde 140mm) but struggling to find. Mine on my DF2 are falling to bit on my fert side.
Any help gratefully appreciatešŸ‘

This wouldn't be happening if you learned to use draft control properly...

Buy a semi-mounted plough. If that won't work buy a bigger farm. That's what 4000 hours of farming simulator taught me.(y)
I know youā€™re joking but I completely agree. Any more than 5 furrows shouldnā€™t be fully mounted imo. All that weight up front just illustrates how much strain is going through that top link pin. I know 2 neighbours who have ended up ploughing the tarmacā€¦

I got them from Tim Smith, Amazon dealer from down south there 125mm with 45 degree angle. Reduces friction on pipe a bit deflecting it with them.
