A few 828’s round here have had more problems than 700’s and 900’s, mostly engine problems although one bust it’s front axle recently but it has a hard life on a 7f fully mounted plough.
As has been said, you’d be better with a 930 if you need the size or a 724 if you don’t.

I would think if you could get one for similar money to a 724 and you don’t mind a little extra weight it would be a very good tractor for you. They are just a little like a sheep in wolves clothing!

Cheers for the replies... A 724 would be my choice but was just wondering as for a little hp more the tractor seems a lot cheaper than a 724 with more hours. Good to hear the opinions though as there's not many Fendt in the area.

I had a 2012 822 which I ran to 2900 hrs and swapped to a 927. The 822 was a very nice tractor. Maybe slightly underpowered but did everything I needed. 927 does the same work just does it a bit easier.
biggest issue I had with it was the adblu pump which once replaced wasn’t an issue dealer had same issue with the other 822 they sold. I’d think adblu pumps should be sorted by now. Other issue was an oil cooler with filled the coolant system with oil.
I’d have another one if could find a second hand one at right money.

One of the locals here had the first 800 sold by our dealer TNS an 826, the driver was a nutter used the 65kmh top speed whenever he could...………...I think he knackered it out after 18 months as they chopped it in for a 724.
