Fendt cardan shaft

I’m going through the grease nipples on a second hand Fendt 415 we have for the first time.

Struggling to find the grease nipple at the rear end of the cardan shaft. Took a photo of the under side of the shaft(below). I’m wondering has someone previously inserted a small bolt where the grease nipple should be?

Front drive shaft on a car or 4x4 have a rubber gator covering the constant velocity joint ,its a grease filled pto knuckle in all sense ,,just thinking that the drive shaft on your fendt might be the same ,,Im presuming the cardan shaft is the conection from the crank shaft to the front pto

Had several models over the past few years and still haven't seen that grease nipple yet either.
Dealership said don't sweat it if it isn't there.

Our 415 the shaft broke couple of times. And the dealer said it could b to much grease being pumped in. They said it shouldn’t b greased

Thread hi Jack coming up. I sat in a fendt 724 the other day and was wondering what the big nipple shaped button on floor does? Any fendt people with the answer? Cheers

Ours failed at 50 hours from new. I was told it was a £5k repair but can’t be 100% sure as it was warranty even though they tried to dump it on us to begin with.
