Tractor runs lovely on petrol but smokes and pops and really struggles.... infact comes to stall on tvo. Please help

Is she nice and hot before you switch it over to tvo?

It does have a tvo manifold fitted in good condition with the alloy heat shield intact?

Is it the correct fuel in the tank?

Is there good fuel flow from the tvo tank?

50 yrs since I worked with one, but I seem to recall they had a thicker head gasket ( thin steel ) to lower the compression and different hotter running spark plugs as well - what are you mix are you using for TVO ?
