18ton Yara Mila ExtraGrass, N-27% P2O5-5% K2O-5% SO3-6%, bought last Monday (21st aug) and delivered Wednesday morning (23rd) ,another guy local wanting 10 ton to make the load up, £243 pay sep/oct/nov. Most was spread that day across the farm to try and encourage some growth as it seemed to stop growing in the clashy crap weather. Is growing this week, but then it is generally warmer.

What factors affecting this Luke ?, not demand imo .
European nitrogen is trading 20euro above our levels, so our prices will be going up to match that. Demand is still there remember with the weaker £ and strong European markets there have been a lot less imported nitrogen so demand for what is available will be tighter.

Gran urea has gone nuts, I exepect a slight correction downwards at some point but doubt we will see the lows of £200 again this season.

Several traders globally have sold urea but had not bought it in, hoping for cheaper levels, they have since panic bought to cover sales and deliver on time, creating a spike in the market, hopefully temporary, but might be maintained if there are more people short than expected.

Excellent, thanks.

Just had first load of nitram in blue bags delivered this morning , lifted first two bags off the lorry and water was dripping out the bottom so I inspected the rest and there's water stood on the plastic liners. Driver said it's stored outside under sheets but once the sheets are rolled back they stay off so if it rains they get wet, well what's the use of sheeting it in the first place to keep it dry. Anyway I've rejected the load, this fert will be at the back of the shed for up to 9months and don't want to risk finding solid bricks of nitram .
