22n 12s 550 a ton. Next year will be the first with liquid.
When they have an over production and their yards are full again. Demand destruction is already (and needed to occur) as urea is now sooo much cheaper per kgN it’s no wonder they are selling next to nothing at current levels, however if the story is correct they have sold the production up till the New year, at their earlier offerings, so perhaps aren’t worried they aren’t selling much now.Spoke to my rep yesterday on AN and he says CF's selling absolutely nothing at current prices.
Does anyone think it'll drop back abit?
At what point do they need us to store it for them?
It’s abit worrying that this is still the case with bps disappearing very shortlyOnce the sfp part payment hits accounts in 5-8wks fert sales will probably come to life.
The cuts to BPS are getting bigger every year, when folk get their half payment early it might sink in sooner that the full payment ain’t going to be what it used to be.It’s abit worrying that this is still the case with bps disappearing very shortly
If it hasn’t sank in yet it’s abit worrying! The cuts to BPS are getting bigger every year, when folk get their half payment early it might sink in sooner that the full payment ain’t going to be what it used to be.
How much was it?If it hasn’t sank in yet it’s abit worrying!
on another note, currently taking delivery of our amidas that we ordered about 6 weeks ago.
Yes i worry some havent quite grasped the percentage reductions, 20-25% less money this year, 35-40% next year and 50+% in 2024The cuts to BPS are getting bigger every year, when folk get their half payment early it might sink in sooner that the full payment ain’t going to be what it used to be.
those of us that bought some fert a month ago and sold to cover it have probably done right as its the gap between inputs and outputs thats important .I reckon I should have done more with hindsight but my ass is covered for the time being . With the lowering/removal of bps I think the plant at all costs of us farmers (taking the risk living in hope) which guarantees uk production is going to end . Where will that leave the country in terms of food securityIt’s abit worrying that this is still the case with bps disappearing very shortly
Yes just dont bank on itUnless, of course, the govt change their minds.....
I think about 770How much was it?
Hopefully not, this industry, along with everything else needs a complete re-calibrationUnless, of course, the govt change their minds.....
That’s a problem for politicians and the supermarketsWhere will that leave the country in terms of food security
Could apply that to a while range of sectors the govt has bailed out as being essential this last few years. Bulb energy just for starters. How many countries are currently cutting agricultural support? Oh it's just here.Hopefully not, this industry, along with everything else needs a complete re-calibration
That’s why I said everything else. Literally the whole economy and populace needs re calibrating, everything is f**ked.Could apply that to a while range of sectors the govt has bailed out as being essential this last few years. "Govt cuts lead to huge cuts in food production while key workers get 15 percent pay rise". Yeah, sounds about right.
Yup. I'd agree with that. That’s why I said everything else. Literally the whole economy and populace needs re calibrating, everything is f**ked.
I was planning on mine paying for fuel not fertOnce the sfp part payment hits accounts in 5-8wks fert sales will probably come to life.
