Sounds as if cf have dropped price today anybody heard by how much
Yup, just had a text saying the same.£920/t down to £790/t for April delivery. Only another 500 quid to be knocked off before it looks vaguely appealing!
really consistent marketing by the domestic AN producer! Out of the market for vast periods during Q4 last year and now this rollercoaster.£920/t down to £790/t for April delivery. Only another 500 quid to be knocked off before it looks vaguely appealing!
Just a pity they flattened alot of coal power stations over last few years!Makes me laugh , as always the case when the shite hits the fan defra-EA will back track their agendas , next thing all the old coal mines will reopen for power stations.
Personally I would buy the very minimum of TSP to grow your crops and watch to see if the more soil friendly products come down in price, would definitely be looking for muck, ideally poultry, but whatever I could get.Kalfos currently working out ar between 3 and 4 times more expensive per acre (on index 0/1) than TSP. I know there's a liming value (not necessarily needed) and supplier was a bit vague on application so not sure if comparing exactly the same application rates, but it seems very expensive.
Sounds like a “reset” offer to me. Gonna go fill me bootsreally consistent marketing by the domestic AN producer! Out of the market for vast periods during Q4 last year and now this rollercoaster.
Where next?
Looking at the gas situation, fundamental to the price of manufacturing fertilisers, it doesn't look like there's much room to go lower? I'd see this volatility continuing. In which case, buying little and often could be a better bet?
Anyone going all-in for the next cropping year?
Dam you! Fallen for it again!Sounds like a “reset” offer to me. Gonna go fill me boots
Did you buy some at £1000/ton ?Absolutely criminal behaviour
Keep an eye on gas prices. The current offer (today at least) looks marginal, at best.Sounds like a “reset” offer to me. Gonna go fill me boots
Had some no it all trader from up road say AN needed to be £775 to compete with the current urea price…… told me $1200 for urea was a good buy…… CF “the saviour of British farming” buy British and all that jazzKeep an eye on gas prices. The current offer (today at least) looks marginal, at best.
No but I bet some poor sod somewhere brought some yesterday and is hurting. Just the way they can seemingly pick a number out of thin air and charge that price is ever so slightly frustrating though!Did you buy some at £1000/ton ?
Badum tishI await to see if Germany starts paying fir its gas in roubles.....
