What fert?Looks to me like wheat is going to be £200 ton, and fert £800 ton. Not very appealing.............

Urea isn't the same price as 34.5% AN though is it?hearing news (Reuters) that Russia is preparing a "humanitarian corridor" through which grains may be exported from Ukraine
presumably, this may take some of the heat out of the grains / oilseeds markets? In turn, reduce the affordability of fertilisers?
Still don't fully understand why the domestic AN producer managed to sell so many tonnes, even above £725/mt when Urea was, and still is available at the same (+/-) price. 46% for the price of 34.5%.
That's 33.3% cheaper according to my abacus...
Problem is the fert price and wheat prices are not connectedUrea isn't the same price as 34.5% AN though is it?
I bought urea at £780 and 34.5% at £645.
The urea was a better buy.

depends where you shop, how much you need and where you want it delivered, I suppose...Urea isn't the same price as 34.5% AN though is it?

Is that Yara you are waiting on? Just got told the same yesterday and like you, im needing it now. Was no mention of not having any in stock when i ordered itThere's definitely not sheds bulging at the seams with N they want out.
Nitram I ordered 2 weeks ago won't be delivered until next week. Waiting for boat to come in.
I'm wanting it to go on grazing land and for 2nd cut silage. Which @£650/t is just going to money. Unless fat price rises.
Aye was May/June delivery. Is that Yara you are waiting on? Just got told the same yesterday and like you, im needing it now. Was no mention of not having any in stock when i ordered it
A couple of years ago someone died from a fert avalanche at Liverpool docks and i think he was in a loading shovel... anyway big warning signs at Immingham for all drivers on how to avoid it.Global food crisis looms as fertilizer supplies dwindle
Sanctions on Russia, bad weather, and export cuts have fueled a severe fertilizer shortage that has farmers scrambling to keep the world fed.www.nationalgeographic.com
That's the way to blend fertiliser!!
It is at Immingham a ship arrives with 10,000 t and is offloaded in 2 days into a shed, happens several times a year along with bulk urea, to the other end of the site. There's not up here. I'm waiting for the boat to come in.
There not legally allowed to store thousands of tons of AN because of explosion risk.
Remember Beirut.
£2000, get in touch if you want some. How much is DAP at the moment?
So have you locked your wheat price for harvest 23, or hoping it will rise further to give a decent return? i will make the decision this Oct as to whether to drill or not based on input and grain prices.I understand your point but we live in such extreme times who knows what the cost of inputs will be after the crop is planted.
I bought An for £623.50 MT 2 weeks ago now people talk about £715.
last week we paid £710 for some 40-14 So3.
I feel pretty happy with that as we can move on and know what at least some of our costs are for at least some over our inputs. Or we can wait maybe wheat goes mental possibly in the £400 s and would probably be paying £900 plus for An ?
Your way behind the game, its per tonne and the book closed 1 min ago, it re opens tomorrow at 10 am and will probably be £2200/ tonne, shall I pre-book it for you? The price is only going one way you know. For 3t sold
A bit like crude oil and petrol/dieselThey are when wheat goes up!
Not when it goes down
A man or woman who speaks like that is very brave or owns their own ground and can live on subsidiary? So have you locked your wheat price for harvest 23, or hoping it will rise further to give a decent return? i will make the decision this Oct as to whether to drill or not based on input and grain prices.
Yes , I was told that , isn't it going the wrong way .CF out with AN at £765 today.
