I'll let it ride for a bit, I could have bought a month ago at mid 700 so if it doesn't get any cheaper and starts to climb I can still buy at the same as I could have previously but have been able to stay in the market that bit longer.
I bought at 740 , if it goes cheaper I'll buy more, if not I'm covered for next year , after that I haven't a scooby

urea $655 fob egypt should equate to£650 on farm
Meaning AN equivalent at £487.50/mt

Good job the domestic producer and their lazy distributors sold it all at £630-£770 then…. I get the security of supply issue but it’s insane to be paying such a hefty premium for nitrates over urea

This from the US 'NewAgTalk' forum:

Can't believe the spread in Urea right now(spot price and realize most booked last fall). Local coop number 1 - $950/ton, Local coop #2 850/ton ---ADM delivered my door - $565/ton. Will be interesting to see how long it takes the locals to chew through their high priced inventory.

$565/t = £452
