The Israeli Tamar gas field is now offline. It supplies Egypt with 1/3rd of its natural gas.

Today, Egypt’s Gasco informed their Urea producers to expect supply disruption. Two producers are 100% offline and the remainder running at 60-70% rates.

Don’t shoot the messenger…

Well I had a look at the Tamar field this morning and it looked fine.
Nobody told me some grockle had bought it;

I will never buy Fert at £700 per tonne ever again. Ever. im Not shooting the messenger. But the trade and paper talk at the time was AN/urea well over £1000! Even £1500 per tonne. I was caught in a panic once never again.

You’re not the only one that was panicked into buying overpriced fert either. Topped out at £910 a ton for an here. Was then scaremongered into liquid at £590 a ton as there wasn’t going to be enough to go around apparently. Eyes well open from now on.
