Do you need any sort of certification to apply fert for someone else using my machine .
I.e. does it affect their crop assurance?

Oh man I'd quit if something like that came in........ Don't forget annual inspection of your machine costing another £1000, £1000 in parts and another £1000 for registering your machine. Then don't forget fined for spilling a bit of fert, fine for bags lay around, fine for basically getting out of bedI can do you FA1 ticket over Zoom, only cost you £500 in cash, of course FA1 ticket only last 1 year so it will have to be an annual thing. Any more takers?
Joking aside, I don't see why anyone would use NSTS to set up a spreader. This is not required by assured crops, just buy or improvise a set of trays and test away when as and when it suits.Oh man I'd quit if something like that came in........
