Has it opened?any one applied
Didn’t realise it had, but…Has it opened?
When I went through the application it did ask if you were applying for all of the sections in turn, so I think it's all there (I only applied for arable stuff)can only see the productivity and slurry management bits open. animal health and welfare not open yet or have I not seen it?
On this theme, when you buy it before you claim it back must all of the money have left the account? Or can you show them the invoice and the machine? For example, if youre spending 30k on a drill, pay 15, then pay the other 15 when the grant comes through. If you get the grant how long it the window to buy it and claim back? Can't seem to see the timescale anywhere online.

Somebody’s who hasn’t had to pay for anything dearer than a McDonald’sWho's idea was that... bloody awful for cashflow!
Oh I do apologise, just because we don't go and buy a brand new x9 every year... Some of us aren't farming thousands of acres and having just had a pretty appauling year don't have overflowing bank accounts!Somebody’s who hasn’t had to pay for anything dearer than a McDonald’s
Better for cashflow than not getting any grant back at all. I’d imagine its a way of making sure the seller gets their money & the buyer isn’t going to get themselves in a financial hole they can’t get out of. I’m sure if you spoke to your bank they’d be willing to arrange a short term loan to cover the period of waiting for the grant.Who's idea was that... bloody awful for cashflow!
Neither have IOh I do apologise, just because we don't go and buy a brand new x9 every year... Some of us aren't farming thousands of acres and having just had a pretty appauling year don't have overflowing bank accounts!
Ah sorry, I thought you were being one of those that thinks everybody can go out and buy brand new kit on a whim...Neither have I
You asked who made the rules about paying for items up front
Probably to stop people thieving that cash and never buying the itemWho's idea was that... bloody awful for cashflow!
Yes, I understand paying after, with invoice and proof of the machine in the yard. Would be nice if there was some flexability for where people could afford the item with the grant but couldn't without. I know several people for whom this is the case.Probably to stop people thieving that cash and never buying the item
