Have a Fiat Hitachi wheeled digger (updated version of the Ford 655) which has an immobiliser fitted. It’s a pain in the arse and of no real benefit here so I’d like to remove it. Does anyone know what’s involved?

So, back at the digger loom, youll find a pair of same colours that were cut and joined to a pair of black wires. You need to pair up these coloured wires and re join them. Its imperative you re -make these connections properly and safely, preferably soldered and heat shrinked.

If thats not your skill, itd be better to get someone in that can.

Thank you, I’ll take another look, but I’m curious as to why there are so many wires leading from the black box to the loom, when I was only really expecting 2?
