Field Drain Finder

Hi all, I'm looking for some kind of drain finder?? The type you can attach to a jetter and locate from above iyswim.

Any recommendations?

You need a couple of bits of bent wire iykwim.

if your jetter pipe has steel in you can use a cat and genny,got ours off ebay for a couple of hundred

They do a special nozzle which fits on the end of my jetter hose (it's an agricultural jetter not a high pressure domestic/commercial type) which allows you to still jet with rear nozzles but not a front one while using the tracka but you don't have it on all the time just when you need to find it.

terrier locator ,collar part in capsule on jetter , hand held reciever very accurate not expensive if depth wasnt likely to be more than 8ft a ferret version would do ,even cheaper

This is exactly what we use, very accurate and not too expensive, ours is the ferret finder, we just made a nylon cone that fits on the front of a large nozzle. Saves many hours of guessing and digging in the wrong place!
