Field Wanted to Rent for Occasional Use

Open field wanted to fly small (not too noisy) model aircraft three or four times a month. Must be within 20 miles of Brighton and Hove. Happy to pay a reasonable rent for usage. I have the relevant modeller's insurance.

That's a good question! It's not really 'rent' in the usual sense and there would be zero damage to field. £250 a year perhaps?

I rent .5ac to an archery club for £220/ month, it’s the best paying part of the farm. No damage at all. I feel that farmers are very much underselling their assets, there is no way I would let someone have almost free access to exploit their hobby. How many golf courses let you play for free?
I’m sorry to be so negative Dan but farmers need to sharpen up and realise they have more to sell than wheat, beef or lamb.

Actually neither! Nothing wrong with people wanting to rent a bit of land and nothing wrong with anyone wanting to let it. Both parties need to realise what an acceptable rent is though. I’m pleased that you have found somewhere [emoji106].
