I have some cattle slats with chipped edges, and Im a bit afraid of a small animal having an unfortunate accident some day.
I was thinking I could fill the gap with concrete, rather than covering with a metal plate.
Im also aware of these SIKA type resins, which are said to be suitable for concrete repair, however I have never used them and have my doubts as to their suitability for chipped edges on slats. Slats get a fair old battering, cattle dancing on top of them.
Anyone ever done anything similar.
