Finding field parcels from grid refs

Anyone know of a site to find 8 digit grid refs for finding fields? i.e. TM0159 3761
The site I used to use has gone and other sites I've tried are putting the field in the wrong location. (About 10-20 miles away)

Thanks for that. I'd used a couple of websites, Ordnance Survey being one of them. Your location is coming up the same as mine did. Approx 17 road miles from the actual field.

Had another customer yesterday send me a load of parcel refs. First one comes up 20 miles away, didn't bother to check the others. Has something changed on these sites?

You are right. Just tried the field
Reference for one of my fields in the app and apparently the field is in the middle of the English Channel

Is it the 8 digit RPA number they have given you?
Only government could cock up a simple system!
Easting is the first 2 digits of each number and northing is second 2!

Thanks, I think that is the answer. Sure we just used to put the number in the order it was given and it would find it.

Cub scouts been managing for decades, only takes one civil servants idea on a computer system to bugger it!
It comes from using squares within squares. The 0159 is the location of the square within TM and 3761 is the location within that square!
