First outing for my Husk App this season

So I’m about to go away for a week so I was keen to get the first round of Slimers and Watkins monitoring with the Husk App in the bank.
It’s slightly early in that we’re at only about 30% emergence today. However with this warm spell things are moving fast and adult slugs are already about. I’ve found some eggs and but the crop is largely free of damage atm.
Just a quick heads up to anyone not aware. Make sure that your phone is pretty much fully charged before attempting to use the Husk App. You’re looking at a 2-3 hours of continuous phone use and image taking

Thank you for sharing that helpful tip! It is also worth considering opening the app at home if you struggle with phone service when out on the field, this way the app will be able to load entirely before you head out to start your monitoring.
