I tried ploughing for the first time yesterday! Preparing an acre or so of pp to make a vegetable /flower plot. Single furrow reversible on my 47 hp Tafe tractor. Was going to get a friend to instruct me but didn't because of the self isolation, so just went at it. And what did I find? It was seriously hard work! I've got some comedy wriggly furrows of varying depth and some great clods of earth all over the place. But I will keep going. Makes me appreciate the skill I've seen at ploughing matches a hell of a lot more.
