Unbelieveable, seen plenty of black and white WW1 film, but a lot of that was footage shown for the first time I believe, the colour and smoothing out of the original film is just incredible and they didnt hold back from showing everything as it was! Lest we forget...

I watched it last night, i could,t believe the colour frames, it looked like hell on earth, you can only imagine what it was like to live through that, men were men then, that there is no dought.

What amazed me was how upbeat they were generally - human endurance and adaptability is incredible.
But I couldn’t help but feel incredibly sad about the state of society today - that is not what they fought for.

Totally agree, not so sure our youngsters would be so keen to sign up today, a breech of human rights maybe.

That film last night was a must watch for school kids, the colour would bring it up to date for them, great seeing the old horse with the binder at the start,

We had a really great turn out on Sunday possibly a thousand people came to the march and the church was packed.
Very different to other years when it has sometimes been a couple of dozen .
pity one young man did not take his baseball cap off , and his parents neither think to prompt him!
