I think it was only what where the big regional energy companies that the fixed renewable tariff applied to all the new energy providers could offer you what they want , I dont know for sure but suspect that as a "small producer" the big former energy companies wont want your energy so will add a lot of additional fees to make there offer come out at or around what the smaller ones are offering if you can even find a department to call and ask about it!

But in essence as said above , the energy companies want green energy but would seem have been increasing the margin between what they are offering to buy it for and what they sell it for I would say.

There are allot of energy providers who now only supply green energy , I'm not sure how many if any at all deal direct with the producer of the energy , it would at least be worth making some calls to some of them to find out ?

Contact EDF Energy (green hub) they will sort you out. I think it takes 1 month to migrate from a PPA to the export tariffs so leave plenty of time.

You should not lose production in the transfer process, generally it is seemless
You could be on an out of contract tariff around 2p if your current PPA expires before transfer to export tariff. Happened to me a few years ago even though I had a well known agent to do the paperwork!!!

The rates seem to change daily, but I expect with the pressure on to cut costs, that there is little desire for green energy at the moment.
If you are paying 18-20 p you really should be changing suppliers. It may be worth speaking to a buying group such as Anglia Farmers who can negotiate deals on both sides, and as one of their customers I can assure you I am paying far less
