Seen a norton 4 s fly press forsale
I dont have a press yet .
On steel table and fairly local
Plans for key ways .... un stuff....
From the images the front ,back throwt looks small
Hole in bottom looks small , but there may be a reducer in there. Not physically seen yet
One ball , across and down arm ...
Are they a good workshop tool , ie big enough
Or better investimg in a hydraulic..

Flypresses are great for smaller & repetitive tasks, but these days I would be more inclined towards a hydraulic press as they tend to be more versatile. That said, if it's cheap enough...

Like most machine tools, you will probably spend at least as much on the tooling as you did on the basic machine. I agree with the Tall guy that they are great for repetitive jobs but a hydraulic press would probably be best for a repair workshop.
